Kia was the striking bitch puppy I had planned and wished for from this mating – and was going to be the keeper until Phillip had other ideas. So plan B came into action – and she went to live with a local family and I had an arrangement to show her, sadly health issues within the family means she was returned to me, and as Sue & Tony had fallen for her big time when she stayed at their Boarding Kennels, she went to live with Bridus bearded collie gang, and the rest they say is history.
Kia is one of those truly special girls, I love her to bits and had Tony and Sue not had a soft spot for her she would have definitely stayed here with brother Matkamies. Like Matka she has won more than I could ever have dreamed of and like him, she has a truly amazing easy going nature.
Kia died in her sleep – she had shown no signs of being unwell and had not long returned from a holiday with plenty of walks, leaving this world in the peaceful chilled way she enjoyed her life. A very special girl.
